Private to Team Omicron [Gertie, Amaury, Audrey, Jewel, Maige, Ri, and Troy]
Hello to all!
I think we should have a very tight and tough to beat team for this Hunt. We'll need to do some things to make sure we stay that way, though. I definitely think we should work together as a team at all times and make decisions together for the most part, but I still think a single person who has the authority to settle disputes and whatnot is advisable. We also need to strategise.
To that end, I am proposing a meeting on Wednesday evening, just after dinner. We can just stay in the Great Hall and stake out a corner for our meeting.
What say you? |

Erm, just so we're all clear...
I am not in love with Phillip Peck. I am not gay, though there's nothing wrong with it. I prefer girls, though.
On an unrelated note, there may be a purple chicken flitting about the Forbidden Forest. And contrary to popular belief, it is possible to find daisies in February.
And by the way, if I ever find out who put love potion in my pumpkin juice, that person will be spitting out mouthfuls of teeth for the next three years of his/her life. If they live that long. That was just NOT ON. |

I AM IN LOVE.
And I don't care who knows it.
Phillip, you are the most gorgeous creature I have ever laid eyes upon. Your voice is sweeter to me than any music and your visage is like a portrait completed by one of the masters of old. I can see the rest of my life reflected in the depths of your soulful eyes.
I beg you, please give me a chance to prove my love for you. I promise you I will treat you like the king you are.
With all the love in the world,
Callum Connor Peck Gallagher |

So we took a field trip to London today. I must admit, I do appreciate all the field trips we go on. Keeps things interesting. And my Fridays are generally boring anyway.
We went to Muggle Parliament, which I thought was an interesting complement to last week’s trip to the Ministry. A nice comparison and contrast between Muggle and wizarding methods of government. Honestly, I think each could learn a few things from the other. I did spend an abnormally large amount of time trying to explain to folks that I don’t automatically understand Parliament because I’m Muggleborn. There are two facts that hinder my knowledge in this area: 1) I’m Scottish, folks. Yes we’re part of the UK, but it doesn’t mean we’re the same as England! 2) It’s right boring.
I did have a bit of a mishap which was slightly embarrassing. I went to the loo (you know, like people do) before we entered the actual Parliament house. It was at least ten minutes before I realised I had some toilet paper on my shoe. Now, really, in the scheme of things, this is not a huge deal. However, I am still a teenager who worries about his reputation, and as I attracted a good deal of strange looks, I am not anxious to repeat the experience.
As a side note, what did everyone think of those wigs they were wearing? It made me think of Nearly Headless Nick personally.
Audrey, shall we continue our game? I have something important to talk to you about. |

Well, we lost. Good show, though Ravenclaw.
And you, Montague. Slytherin played a right good game. We should have bloody won, though.

another week, more quidditch practise. big game coming up friday. going to pulverise slytherin. think my team's pissed at the hard training, but as i keep telling them, if they want to win, they'll train hard and overcome the pain.
spent a good while in the common room staring at the chess board. sometimes it helps me think up quidditch plays. then rosie came by and we had to study stds. honestly, why are they waiting so long to do this? my muggle mates learned about stds their first year of secondary school. by now, all this is probably doing is helping some people to realise what those red bumps down there actually are. do they actually think this is going to prevent anything? actually, kudos to blair for giving good advice on that front. you just summed up the entire point of this term - think if i point that out, we can stop going?
things seem to be getting somewhat easier with jocelyn certain things. wonder what that means? i didn't see her anything at all over break. don't know if i was expecting to or what.
does anyone want to do some extra runes translation with me? i need a bit more review to get back up to speed.
oh, and happy birthday jude! hope it's smashing, mate. |
